Frequently Asked Questions
Will your guitar parts fit mine?
Most of our guitar replacement parts are designed to match the standard 2-3/16″ neck pocket and heel dimensions, so they should be compatible with any parts built to the same specs.
For parts with non-standard specifications, please contact us to confirm compatibility.
To avoid any mishaps, it’s always a good idea to double-check your measurements first.
How can I place an order?
The fastest and simplest way to place an order is by exploring our Tonewoods and Parts items, which are ready to ship immediately. If you wish to create something custom that is not visible in the available options, please contact us via email or phone during business hours.
How long will my order take to arrive?
Processing times depend on what you’ve ordered.
Once your order is complete, we will update you on the processing time by phone or email, using the contact information you provided at checkout. You will receive updates on the status of your request and the expected shipping date.
Can I request customizations?
Most options are available directly through our website, but if you’re looking for something more specific or unique, feel free to contact us by phone or email, and we’ll do our best to help bring your project to life.
Production times for custom orders can vary from 2 to 6 weeks.
Will the product I order look exactly like the photo online?
Yes! When browsing our Tonewoods and Parts selection, the photos represent the actual product you’ll receive. This way, you can check out the exact wood grain and color. Just remember, colors might appear slightly different depending on your device’s screen settings. For certain highly customizable products we may use stock images.
How do you install and finish frets?
We install frets by pressing and gluing them, followed by beveling the ends. On most necks, we mask off the fretboard before applying the finish. On maple fretboards, the finish is applied directly over the frets; it will wear off naturally or can be scraped off if you prefer. We do offer copmlete fret leveling services but if you are willing to do it by yourself, remember it is best done after the neck has been installed and acclimated for a few days.
Do you offer nitro finishes?
Yes, we offer both both satin and gloss Nitro finishes on our bodies and necks. If you are looking for a specific colour combination or a specific type of finish, we kindly ask you to contact us via email or phone during business hours.
